What Nette Court Program does
The Nette Court Program offers a 2 year structured residential recovery program for 8 young people aged 16 - 24 who have experienced serious mental health issues.
Who can enter the Nette Court Program?
The residential program provides services to young people 16 – 24, who in addition to mental illness, may have substance abuse issues and also be at risk of homelessness, suicide or other self harm. Services are available to young people living in the Cities and Shires of Port Phillip, Stonnington, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong, Bayside, Casey, Cardinia, Monash, Kingston, Frankston and Mornington Peninsula.
Where
The Nette Court Residential Program is situated in a quiet court in Moorabbin and consists of a group of two bedroom units clustered around a communal garden and BBQ area.
What the program aims to do
The staff at the Nette Court program work to provide individuals with opportunities that promote positive personal growth. The residential service supports young people to develop a sense of belonging and self-worth. With flexibility, an emphasis is placed on assisting individuals to deal with day to day tasks, preparing for greater independence and encouraging links to community through education and employment.
How to access the program
Clients access the program by referral following an initial informal visit.
