About Housing Mooroopna 

Housing Mooroopna is a new development offering safe and secure social housing for people of all ages who want to live in a peaceful environment that focuses on community connection. 

Housing Mooroopna features 20 self-contained homes, including:  

• nine x two-bedroom units and; 
• 11 x one-bedroom units. 

Each unit contains a main bedroom with built in robes, bathroom, laundry, kitchen, split system, small balcony and private outdoor area. The two-bedroom units have an additional bedroom. Units feature a space for a dishwasher.  

Owned by The Haven Foundation, specialists in providing high quality, integrated social housing and support services, Housing Mooroopna is close to public transport, local shops and other amenities. 

Tenancy for Housing Mooroopna will be managed by The Haven Foundation. Our staff have a high level of empathy and understanding due to our broader work with people with mental health and wellbeing challenges. 

Housing Mooroopna was funded by Homes Victoria as part of the Build and Operate program to provide financial assistance for the construction and operations of social housing in partnership with community housing agencies. Housing Mooroopna will be delivered in partnership with Mind Australia and The Haven Foundation. 

Who is Housing Mooroopna for? 

Housing Mooroopna provides secure, high-quality residences for people who want to be part of a safe community and be able to connect with others whilst simultaneously enjoying their own space and independence.  

Eligibility: 

• Residents must be on or eligible for the Victorian Housing Register
