Our highly skilled team of credentialed specialists provide Positive Behaviour support to clients with mental health and wellbeing challenges.

Positive Behaviour support focuses on evidence-based strategies and person-centred supports that address the needs and underlying causes of behaviours of concern, while safeguarding dignity and quality of life.

Our Behaviour Support specialists work with individuals, families and their broader support teams to:

  • Better understand the individual and the nature of their behaviour, including identifying underlying causes and purpose of the behaviour

  • Develop strategies based around the strengths of the individual which aim to increase quality of life whilst reducing problematic behaviours that are causing concern

  • Work with the support team on successful implementation of strategies and ongoing monitoring and review to ensure strategies continue to be relevant for the person and least restrictive in nature

Our highly skilled team of credentialed Positive Behaviour Support Specialists include Registered Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Social Workers who are registered as Behaviour Support Practitioners with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
