This service provides intensive individual and group based support that promotes resilience, interpersonal skills, life skills and greater sense of being able to make sound decisions, including healthy lifestyle choices. Participants benefit from sharing their experiences and recovery journeys with the other residents. Residents can stay for up to 12 months.

Who for:

Young people who need intensive support to recover from mental illness in a safe, home-like environment.

How to access:

People eligible for a place must be at least 16 years old, and assessed as having disability associated with a psychiatric condition, and at the time of application, limited capacity for social and economic participation. Young people who access this service often experience multiple disadvantages.

Outcome statement:

Enhanced confidence and the skills to live independently in the community.
