Tickets are now available for One Door Mental Health’s annual Symposium, to be held on Wednesday 22 May at Novotel Sydney – Parramatta.

The One Door Mental Health Symposium brings together leading researchers, practitioners, and community members to drive positive outcomes and advocate for the needs of people living with mental health challenges and their families and supporters.

Themed From Discovery to Impact: Collaborating for New and Innovative Ways, the Symposium will build upon the success of previous events and provide the opportunity for participants to share insights and be the initial voice shaping One Door’s Research Trust Fund agenda into enduring mental illness.

Mind Australia will be represented at the Symposium by Katie Larsen, Executive Director Lived Experience, and Dr Laura Hayes, Research and Evaluation Manager. Katie will discuss the role of lived experience leadership in transformational service change, and Dr Hayes’ presentation will cover the impact of research in changing practice and improving lives. Dr Hayes will also facilitate a brainstorming session that will identify key research themes relating to complex mental ill-health.

The One Door Mental Health Symposium will be live streamed. To book tickets, register for the live stream or to find out more, click here.
