We are doing a project to find out how people make choices in the context of the NDIS, and we are looking for input from people with mental health conditions who have individual funding through the NDIS.

We are interested in talking to you about your experience of making choices under the NDIS. Your input will contribute to a better understanding of how we can help people to exercise ‘choice and control’, and enable them to get the most they possibly can out of the NDIS.

We hope to give guidance to practitioners - in particular planners in the Local Area Co-ordination program - on how to support choice-making that enables people to lead the lives they want.

If you live in the Barwon, Hunter or Perth areas, have an NDIS package because of a mental health condition and you are interested taking part in this project (or want to know more about it), please contact Sarah Pollock on either 1300 286 463 or Sarah.Pollock@mindaustralia.org.au

You can access the Making choices to support your own mental health flyer here or the plain language statement for interview participants that explains more about this project. For an audio recording click here.
