Mind Australia supports clients to live independent, productive and satisfying lives through a comprehensive range of services.
Mind Youth Services Framework
Mind aims to work with people early in their illness, especially young people, so that we can address and reduce any impacts they may experience and enhance their recovery and wellbeing.
In line with our model of recovery oriented practice, our approach to youth mental health work is governed by the idea that every young person deserves to have a meaningful life and to be able to fulfil their hopes and dreams.
The Mind Youth Services Framework (PDF, 2.93MB) describes the guiding principles behind Mind’s provision of youth services. It aims to:
- build organisational capacity and to support all Mind staff to deliver best-practice approaches to working with young people living with mental ill-health, their families and carers
- be a source of information for young people, their families and carers.
