Your donation helps bring help, hope and purpose to those who need it most.

Without the right support and recovery care, severe mental health conditions can interfere with a person’s daily life, leaving them vulnerable to economic disadvantage, unemployment, homelessness and isolation.

Last year Mind provided support to 19,699 people across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.

In doing so, we provided 450,000 support hours to individuals. Many of the people we support on their recovery journey access our sub-acute step up, step down residential programs  (staying on average 14 days), or live in a longer term supported residential program (staying on average up to a year). Last year we provided 112,950 bed days across our residential programs.

In addition to direct service, we also help thousands of people who are needing information and advice about navigating the mental health system or who are seeking phone-based advice about how they can best support a loved one. Last year we received:

  • 15,772 calls to the Mind Connect information and advisory helpline
  • 3,003 calls to the Mind Carer Helpline
