Accessing these services
All psychologists at the Mind Equality Centre are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) or the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA) or the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and have Medicare provider numbers, making Medicare and private health rebates available to service users.
Medicare bulk billing is available to clients with a referral and mental health treatment plan from a GP or other clinician. We are registered for Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) with North Western PHN under which clients are eligible for a maximum of 12 sessions.
We also welcome privately funded bookings, and fees are rebateable through many private health insurance funds.
Working in partnership with you
Mind clinicians will work in shared care arrangements with other health professionals if requested and the client gives approval.
