Tickets for Mind’s The Stratford Lecture discussing lived experience leadership and transformative systems change in the mental health and social sectors are nearly booked out.

The inaugural lecture will feature Ellie Hodges, a nationally recognised thought leader and founder of the Lived Experience Leadership & Advocacy Network (LELAN) – South Australia’s peak consumer body.

Some tickets for the Stratford Lecture on Wednesday 27 March at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne are still available and can be reserved by clicking here. The Stratford Lecture will also be live streamed via Zoom – click here to register.

The Stratford Lecture and The Stratford Scholarship have been established by Mind to honour Anthony Stratford’s contributions to the Peer Workforce.

The lecture will feature Ellie, who has worked in the non-government mental health sector for more than 20 years as a community development lead, therapeutic practitioner, manager, educator, strategy/policy worker, advisor and consultant. Click here to learn more about Ellie Hodges.

Mind CEO Gill Callister and Mind Executive Director Lived Experience Katie Larsen will also present at the lecture, and the recipient of the inaugural The Stratford Scholarship will also be announced.

The Stratford Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship for an emerging Peer leader across Australia to complete a 12-month project that contributes to innovation and transformational change in their own and the broader community.
