What's new at Mind

Recovery from mental ill-health is a diverse personal and social experience.

Carer resource hub

At Mind, we recognise that caring for someone with mental health issues can be stressful, and that sometimes you need support yourself. We offer a range of family and carer support services to help support you in this role.

This carer resource hub has been developed to help families, friends and carers find the most useful online resources available in the mental health sector.  So many carers told us that there is a lot of information out there and it can be overwhelming to trawl through it all. So we put our carers and carer experts to the test and asked them to nominate their top picks on resources for carers.

For support in any of these areas or to find out about other resources, services and counselling in your area please contact our Carer Helpline on 1300 554 660.

Topics included in this carer resource hub include:

  • Personal caring experience
  • Legal/judicial and financial issues
  • Family and relationships
  • Support services for carers
  • Mental health system
  • Mental illness and drug & alcohol use
  • Recovery
