Supported Independent Living - CLIFTON HILL
Supported Independent Living services are provided to residents who live in shared accommodation and who have NDIS funding for assistance with activities of daily living. At this residence, 24/7 support is provided by a staff team with specialised skills in supporting people with mental health-related disability and complex needs. They'll help you with daily life tasks and develop your skills for independent living - including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan. Tenancy is managed separately by a third party agent.
Short to medium term supported accommodation is also available at this property. This property sometimes has a vacancy suitable for someone seeking a short to medium term supported accommodation service, whether funded by the NDIS or another support package.
Site description
Our 13 unit property in Clifton Hill is in a quiet residential street, walking distance from local shops and public transportation. Each of the thirteen units has a single bedroom with lounge, kitchen and bathroom facilities. We promote a sense of community here and encourage the residents and staff to get together regularly for the opportunity to share and offer friendly support. Community groups are run on-site at the church next door. The weekly groups include a cooking group run in conjunction with Holden Street Neighbourhood House and a community access program designed to encourage socialisation, numeracy and literacy skills.
