Loddon Mallee Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect supports family members, carers, kin and supporters of people with mental ill-health and/or substance use challenges.

Loddon Mallee Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect is delivered in partnership between Mind Australia and Mallee Family Care.

About the service

Loddon Mallee Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect provides a warm and welcoming space for family, carers, kin and supporters of all ages and backgrounds.

The service provides opportunities to connect with peers along with tailored information, resources, advocacy, support (individual and group-based), and access to brokerage funds through Tandem’s Carer Support Fund.

At Loddon Mallee Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect, all staff have a lived experience of supporting someone with mental health and wellbeing concerns and/or substance use challenges.

Our family and carer peer support workers listen to families, carers, kin and supporters, and offer a variety of supports based on their specific needs.

Supports for family members and carers may include emotional or practical support and help to connect with information, resources and services relevant to their situation.

Services are available through walk-in, phone, online and outreach services. Walk-in services will be available at Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect in Bendigo and Mildura later this year (2023).
