Housing and support solutions
Housing and support solutions
Mind offers residential-based support services in safe, home-like environments.
Supported independent living services are delivered in shared housing to adults with NDIS packages funded for assistance with activities for daily living. Mind provides support to those living in Specialist Disability Accommodation and other shared housing types. Tenancy arrangements are managed by a separate agency. Find out more about our Supported Independent Living services.
Individualised Living Options is a new, highly flexible support item funded through the NDIS, which ensures people are not limited to disability homes. The support model is highly individualised and the participant is able to combine formal and informal supports. Mind can assist those eligible to explore and design the package of supports that best suit their needs.
Short term supported accommodation is available at many residences where Mind provides support as well as other accommodation settings.
Medium term supported accommodation in a Mind-managed site is an option funded by the NDIS for those who require transitional housing while they wait for their permanent home to be ready to move in.
