About The Way Back Support Service

This program is delivered in partnership with Bendigo Health and offers a blend of clinical and community-based wrap-around mental health supports to help people transition from a state of crisis to problem-solving and achieving positive change.
The Way Back Support Service clients receive outreach and psychosocial support for up to three months post suicide attempt.
Some Mind staff members who deliver The Way Back Support Service have a lived experience of mental ill-health or suicidal ideation. These peer practitioners use their lived experience to create strong rapport and better connect with clients as well as their families and carers.
